Step 3 of ADR-143 §5, with D1-D2 of ADR-254. std::db is the protocol only: traits, a statement, a row’s values; each dialect is a package beside it. std::db declares the Connection trait and the compiler writes the conversion. The connection is the statement’s subject: by_age.execute(db; min_age: 18). raw(text) for dynamic SQL; no expression capture, no ORM.
